House fire on Cecelia St
Several fire departments responded to Cecelia Street after getting calls for a heavy house fire Saturday, May 17.
Butler city, Butler township and Oneida Valley fire departments were dispatched around 5:30 p.m. to 230 Cecelia St. after smoke coming from inside the house became visible.
According to the dispatcher, the homeowner was not home at the time of the fire, and firefighters were looking for a dog inside. The fire was extinguished after about 30 minutes.
Butler city firefighters confirmed the dog survived and nobody was inside at the time.
