The North Shore of Moraine State Park will play host to the annual Mighty Moraine Triathlon on Saturday and Sunday, May 17 and 18, hosted by Get Fit Families.

To accommodate the bicycle portion of the triathlon, the traffic flow on some of the park’s roads will be one-way only from 6 a.m. to noon both days. The one-way pattern will start from West Park Road and end at Mt. Union Road.

All areas of the park will remain open and park rangers will be on hand to control traffic during the event.

In addition, on Saturday, the youth portion of the race will take place at the Pleasant Valley Beach on the South Shore from 4 to 8 p.m.
