Joan Eudaly

Eudaly

Joan Louise Eudaly, 82, of West Sunbury, went to be with the Lord Thursday, May 8, 2025. She was greeted by her youngest daughter, Brenda, as well as many friends and family.

Joan was born July 24, 1942, in Albuquerque, N.M., and was the oldest daughter of Hubert and Julia Sue Overall.

She met the love of her life, Cecil, whom she married June 10, 1960. Her heart was huge and her arms were always open to anyone or anything in need. She was loving, but had boundaries. If the children crossed that line, she would send them to the stairs to sit and think about their actions. She loved to read, travel, camp, the smell of horses on her hands, pets and, of course, family and friends. Her enchiladas were our family’s favorite meal and always requested first at family gatherings. We will continue to make them with love, but they will never taste as good as hers.

A legacy of love is what she left behind. Children and grandchildren, little boys and little girls. She gave them all the means to take on the world. A strength she instilled in each and every mind. Be it as wife, mother or grandmother, she was one of a kind. A legacy of life and love will be forever remembered. Rest in peace.

She is survived by her forever loving family, including her spouse, Cecil Eudaly; daughter, Ginger (Walter) Markle; sons, Darrol (Jill) Eudaly and Mike Eudaly; son-in-law, Robert Pettigrew; grandchildren, Dena (Brian) Muenster, Jessica (Mike) Lynn, Nathan (Kendra) Markle, Chloe (Nick) Mike, Heather (Eric) Smith, Eva Eudaly, Zach Eudaly, Crystal Eudaly, Corey Pettigrew and Shanna Pettigrew; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald (Jeannie) Overall; and sister, Linda Manuel.
