David K. Thompson, 68, of Sarver, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at his home.

Born Nov. 17, 1956, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of Raymond Thompson and Dorothy (Stormer) Thompson.

Dave was a lifelong farmer and had been a truck driver for Tesone Trucking and W.L. Roenigk. He enjoyed woodworking.

Surviving are his brother, Donald Thompson of Sarver; his sister, Doris (Richard) Kirkner of Kittanning; three nieces, Theresa (Tony) Marianna, Rebecca Kelly and Angela (Doug) McMillen; his great-uncle, William Stormer; and his good friend and caregiver, Darlene Vogel.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol Thompson; and one son, Karl Thompson.

THOMPSON — Friends of David K. Thompson, who died Tuesday, May 13, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 16, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robin Swinsburg officiating.

Interment will follow in Westminster Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
