State Rep. Stephenie Scialabba, R-12th, is hosting her second annual Family First Initiative to connect area families with resources and services available through local, state and federal governments, and private organizations.

The event takes place from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, May 15, at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center, 2525 Rochester Road in Cranberry Township.

Those attending are asked to bring old eyeglasses or cellphones for donation to local charities, according to a news release.
