Dickey

Russell Dickey, 70, of Butler, died Friday, May 2, 2025.

He was born on March 28, 1955, to the late Robert and Janet (Graham) Dickey.

Russell was a 1973 graduate of Butler High School. He had been employed for 33 years at Armco Steel Mill in the masonry department.

Russ was a Christian and we are, therefore, comforted by the fact that he now resides with his Lord and Savior.

Russ loved the outdoors and taught R.J. how to successfully hunt and fish.

He is survived by two sisters, Christine Gasparin of Renfrew and Nancy (Dennis) Young of Chicora; and one brother, R.J. (Robin) Dickey of Butler. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews; three grandnieces and a grandnephew; and many cousins.

Russ was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

DICKEY — There will be no public services for Russell Dickey, who died Friday, May 2, 2025.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at Greenlawn Burial Estates.

Arrangements have been entrusted to THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, Butler.
