Turkey season cited as reason for shots fired, increased police presence in Forward Township
State police responded Tuesday morning, May 13, to an area in Connoquenessing Township for reports of shots fired, according to a news release.
Several police units canvassed the area of Nursery Road and Reibold Road around 10:27 a.m.
No danger was found, so police attributed the reported shots fired to spring turkey season in the area prime for turkey habitats.
