During their meeting on Thursday night, May 8, the Forward Township Board of Supervisors formally recognized Seneca Valley Senior High School freshman Emma Pichieri for her achievement of reaching Eagle Scout status last summer.

A large contingent of her fellow scouts from Boy Scout Troop 6405 at the Cranberry Elks Club were on hand to congratulate her as well.

Eagle Scout is the highest rank in Scouts BSA — formerly known as the Boy Scouts of America.
