Two Mars Area High School students received nominations for the 2025 Henry Mancini Musical Theatre Awards for the school’s spring production of “Peter Pan, Broadway’s Timeless Musical.”

Aidan Krepin, a junior who played the role of Peter Pan, was nominated for best actor. Sophomore Jenna Smith also was recognized, nominated for best supporting actress.

In addition to Aidan’s and Jenna’s nominations, the production received nominations for best musical, best ensemble, best student orchestra, best choreography execution, best costume design, best crew/technical execution, best lighting and best scenic design.

According to a news release from the district, the cast will perform the production number, “I Won’t Grow Up,” at the 2025 Henry Mancini Musical Theatre Awards ceremony at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 18, at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center in Midland.

The annual Mancini awards recognize achievement in high school musical theater in Beaver, Butler and Lawrence counties.
