The Basement Band, which comprises Slippery Rock-area musicians, will perform at the Friendship Second Saturday Concert on Saturday, May 10, at Friendship Community Center, 886 New Castle Road, Slippery Rock.

Sandy McConnell and Greg Vanderveen play a variety of music as the Basement Band. The concert will include complimentary refreshments.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the music begins at 7. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated.
