Butler Township will host its third “Guys who Grill” charity event from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Preston Park, 415 S. Eberhart Road.

This event will feature around 20 men from the Butler area community who will pick a dish of their choice to cook for attendees. It will benefit the Butler Golden Tornado Scholastic Foundation.

Cost of admission includes dinner, music and the opportunity to benefit the foundation. Attendees also can vote for the People’s Choice Award winner.

The event will specifically raise funds for the foundation’s Kid’s Weekend Backpack Program that provides a weekly bag with snacks and prepared meals to elementary school at-risk students in the Butler Area School District.

Tickets are on sale at the Butler Township Municipal Building, 290 S. Duffy Road, as well as Cummings Candy & Coffee’s west location, 530c Evans City Road in Butler Township. Tickets for the event are $20 for presale and will be $25 for admittance at the door. For more details, go to www.butlertwp.org.
