Multiple fire departments were dispatched to the Clearview Mall Wednesday, May 7 after a call indicated there was a fire in the mall’s ceiling near the Armed Forces Recruiting Center.

The report came in at about 5:15 p.m. and was quickly downgraded to two stations when firefighters discovered the call was the result of a blown lightbulb.

Officials said no damage occurred.

An ambulance was called for an unassociated medical incident at roughly the same time.
