Police reports
The following items were collected from various police departments and district courts:
April 24 — Dawn E. Book-Squire, 43, of Valencia, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of driving under the influence of controlled substances, controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following an April 23 traffic stop. Police said Book-Squire showed signs of impairment and had two metal straws with white residue, a non-descript pill bottle and a snorting device.
April 22 — Oscar B. Jackson, 66, of Butler, was charged with one felony count each of prohibited firearm possession and controlled substance possession with intent; and two misdemeanor counts of controlled substance possession and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession following an April 22 incident. Police said Jackson had a firearm when prohibited, six 9 mm rounds, five unopened blue stamp bags of suspected fentanyl, two raw crack cocaine rocks, two burnt glass pipes and one pocket scale.
April 23 — Andrew M. Pedigo, 52, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of indecent exposure and disorderly conduct following an April 23 incident. Police said urinated on a light pole and yelled at bystanders.
April 24 — Cory J. Hennessy, 36, of Butler, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of terroristic threats and simple assault following a March 10 incident. Police said Hennessy gave a woman two black eyes and a head injury and pulled her hair in incidents between December 2024 and February 2025.
April 24 — Jeffrey Fetters, 46, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor accident involving damage following an April 15 crash. Police said Fetters crashed into another vehicle and left the scene, and he later went to the police station and confessed.
April 25 — Kelly N. Bowser, 41, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor trespass following an April 25 incident. Police said Bowser was in an area with posted no trespassing signs.
April 26 — Dolores M. Kirk, 70, of Sykesville, Md., was charged with misdemeanor retail theft following an April 25 incident. Police said Kirk stole $584 of merchandise from a business.
April 26 —Police charged an unidentified man with misdemeanor disorderly conduct following an April 26 incident. Police said the man showed signs of intoxication and refused to leave an area.
April 27 — James L. Williamson III, 33, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following an April 26 incident. Police said Williamson pushed, strangled and bit a woman.
April 27 — Sydney J. Elder, 26, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault following an April 26 incident. Police said Elder hit a man on the head with a candle and grabbed him by the neck.
April 24 — Owen J. Gaiser, 19, of Butler, was charged with felony attempt to trespass and misdemeanor trespass following a March 1 incident in Butler Township. Police said Gaiser repeatedly attempted to enter Butler Area Senior High School when unauthorized.
April 24 — Darlene N. McCune, 41, of Evans City, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts following an April 24 crash. Police said McCune had a BAC of 0.246%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
April 24 — Patrick J. Ryan, 47, of Pittsburgh, was charged with two misdemeanor DUI counts and one misdemeanor count each of controlled substance possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a March 25 incident. Police said Ryan showed signs of impairment and tested positive for methamphetamine and fentanyl.
April 22 — Michael W. Gold, 53, of Hilliards, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of driving under the influence of alcohol and drug paraphernalia possession following a Jan. 24 traffic stop in Parker Township. Police said Gold showed signs of impairment and had a plastic straw with residue, a white rubber container with suspected cocaine residue, a glass smoking pipe and 11 miscellaneous pills.
April 24 — Carly R. Krouse, 36, of Seward, was charged with two misdemeanor driving under the influence counts following an April 9 crash in Connoquenessing Township. Police said Krouse had a BAC of 0.35%. The legal limit in Pennsylvania is 0.08%.
April 23 — Marki M. Seezox, 35, of Butler, was charged with felony controlled substance possession with intent and one misdemeanor count each of corruption of minors, DUI, marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a Nov. 11, 2023, traffic stop. Police said Seezox had at least three unidentified pills, two marijuana cigarettes, $1,875 in cash, and gave cigarettes to a minor.
April 24 — Walter R. Wise, 31, of Slippery Rock, was charged with three misdemeanor DUI counts and one misdemeanor count each of marijuana possession and drug paraphernalia possession following a Feb. 10 traffic stop in Brady Township. Police said Wise showed signs of impairment, tested positive for THC and had a Ziploc bag containing suspected marijuana and rolling papers.
April 25 — Abigail M. Roberts, 21, of Pittsburgh, was charged with five misdemeanor counts of drug paraphernalia possession and one misdemeanor count of marijuana possession following an April 21 traffic stop in Buffalo Township. Police said Roberts had a clear plastic container with marijuana, two glass pipes, a THC vape pen and two metal grinders.
April 25 — Brandon S. Wissinger, 36, of Sarver, was charged with misdemeanor DUI following a Feb. 26 traffic stop in Buffalo Township. Police said Wissinger showed multiple signs of impairment but tested negative for alcohol.
