Lion at Keystone Safari dies
Cash, a 19-year-old lion at Keystone Safari in Grove City, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, May 4, according to a post by the company on Facebook.
His death was due to “natural, age related causes,” the park wrote. He was born and raised at Living Treasures before moving to Keystone Safari upon its completion.
“One of the best experiences since building the safari was watching him in his big new digs we worked for years to build,” the post said. “He was proud and protective of his pride. There is no doubt he put us on the map and also made a positive impact for the future of lions and his genetics. It's been an honor to grow together.”
