Flash flood warning in effect for Sarver, Freeport
A flash flood warning for parts of southeastern Butler County is in effect until 11:45 p.m. Sunday. May 4.
The warning, which was issued by the National Weather Service at 8:45 p.m., covers parts of Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler and Westmoreland counties.
The NWS said as much as 1.5 inches of rain had fallen and additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 0.8 inches were possible.
