Seniors and their families who are looking for an assisted-living community near Butler soon will have a new option.

Benbrook Place, a senior living community under Lutheran SeniorLife, is set to open in Butler Township this summer and replace Advanced Care Center of Butler at 115 Technology Drive.

According to a Lutheran SeniorLife news release, Benbrook Place is “designed with comfort, dignity and independence in mind.” It will intend to be a homelike environment with support from trained caregivers providing wellness programs and assisting with daily activities, such as medication management and mobility, according to the release.

“Benbrook Place represents our commitment to evolving with the needs of our community,” said Laura Roy, executive director of Passavant Community, whose team will manage the facility for Lutheran SeniorLife. “We’re proud to offer a welcoming space where seniors can feel at home, receive the assistance they need and continue to live a life of purpose and connection.”

The transition from nursing care at Advanced Care Center to personal care at Benbrook follows a review of community needs and will focus on giving older adults their independence while supporting them, Lutheran SeniorLife said.

The community will feature private accommodations, prepared meals, life enrichment programs and access to on-site health care services, according to the release.

Those interested can schedule a tour or receive more information on Benbrook Place by going to www.lutheranseniorlife.org/benbrookplace or calling 724-431-3300.
