Lester ‘Ron’ Hall
Lester Ronald “Ron” Hall, 78, of Walton, Ind., passed away peacefully at home Monday, April 28, 2025, with his family by his side.
Born March 14, 1947, in Butler, he was the son of the late Lester Reagle and Margaret Pauline (Sybert) Hall.
In 1965, Ron graduated from Moniteau High School and joined the Air Force. He honorably served our nation, participating in both the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm. Ron received an Associate of Science degree in electronics through the Air Force and dedicated his career to radar control and maintenance. He achieved the distinguished rank of master sergeant prior to his retirement. Ron then worked for the Federal Aviation Administration at the Indianapolis International Airport.
Ron was proud of his heritage. He was a member of the Native American Council and the Native American Alaskan Native Coalition.
Ron was a 32nd degree Master Mason and held membership in the Grove City Lodge No. 603. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of New Castle Order.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Iris Susanne “Sue” (Regale) Hall; his son, Mark (Stacy) Hall of Peru, Ind.; and his daughter, Dawn (Daniel) Mykut of Walton, Ind. He also is survived by three sisters, Barbara (Kenneth) Tebay, Beverly Everly and Elaine (William) Crispen. Ron was proud of his grandchildren, David Mykut, Joseph Mykut, Alexis (Kristopher Marburger) Hall, Sabra (Aaron) Hall and Jade Danyel Hall.
In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by one brother, David Keith Hall.
HALL — Visitation and funeral services for Lester Ronald “Ron” Hall, who died Monday, April 28, 2025, were held at FISHER FUNERAL CHAPEL, Logansport, Ind.
Members of the U.S. Air Force provided military honors in memory of Ron, a final tribute to his service to our country. Following military honors, the Hanna Lodge No. 61 from Walbash conducted Masonic rites assisted by Logansport Tipton Masonic Lodge.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children or Riley Hospital for Children.
