Larry D. Thompson died Sunday, April 27, 2025, in Charlotte, N.C.

Born March 31, 1942, to Curtis and Frances Zonarich Thompson in Butler, he was a Vietnam veteran who later dedicated his career to Siemens Energy as an electrical tester.

He is survived by a son and daughter, both married; three granddaughters; and a sister.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Thompson; and brother, Leroy.

He will be laid to rest in Sarver, beside his late wife, Mary Jane.
