Eugene ‘Red’ Stewart
Eugene “Red” Alan Stewart, of Cochranton, Wayne Township, formerly of Grove City, passed away in the comfort of his home Thursday, May 1, 2025, with his family by his side. He was 73.
Red, as he was known to his family and friends, was born in Ellwood City on Dec. 31, 1951, a son of the late Donald L. and Amelia (Erhardt) Stewart.
On June 27, 1988, he married the former Deborah Baker, who survives at home. He had served honorably with the U.S. Air Force as an aeromedical specialist from 1971 to 1974. He was employed by the Borough of Grove City Water Department, working with the waste treatment plant. He retired in 2013.
In addition to his wife, Deborah, he is survived by three children, Braden Stewart of New Bethlehem, Tomi (Tyler) Fulmer of Franklin and Maddox Stewart of Cochranton; three brothers, Dennis Stewart of Harmony, Jerry Stewart of Clearfield and Richard Stewart of Ohio; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
