Grove City historical society kicks off speaker series May 13

The Grove City Area Historical Society will welcome Dan Armour, the grandson of renowned metalworker Arthur Armour, as the first in the historical society’s Spring 2025 Speaker Series on Tuesday, May 13.
He will give a presentation on his grandfather, entitled “Arthur Armour and the Pioneering Spirit of Grove City,” exploring Arthur’s contribution to industry and to the community. Arthur Armour’s Hand Wrought Aluminum business existed in Grove City from 1933-1976.
The presentation will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the society’s museum, 111 College Ave., Grove City. Armour will provide workshop demonstrations at 5:45 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.
