The Cranberry Township Police Department held a mock accident to display the dangers of drinking and driving to students at North Catholic High School on Tuesday, April 29.

According to the police department’s Facebook page, the multi-vehicle mock accident featured student actors and a lifelike response scenario as dozens of North Catholic High School students watched from a distance.

The event also included first responders from the township’s EMS and fire departments, along with a helicopter, to encourage students to make smart decisions when behind the wheel of a vehicle.
