Butler Cubs Boxing’s 51st annual amateur boxing showcase sets date

For the 51st year, Butler Cubs Boxing will host its annual showcase event.
The Cubs Hall tradition will be held May 17. Matches will be announced at a later date, longtime boxing manager Don Spinetti said.
Spinetti, then an assistant trainer, and Rich Gregory started the showcase night in 1974. One of his former boxers, Billy Wolfe, is among the event’s organizers.
