Kristen DeSantis Ady
Kristen Ashley DeSantis Ady, 37, of New Castle, formerly of Butler, passed away tragically Friday, April 11, 2025, as the result of a multiple vehicle accident on Route 422 in Lawrence County.
Born Aug. 10, 1987, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Oliver “Ollie” Thomas DeSantis and Shirley Ann Bowser DeSantis.
A high honors student, Kristen was named to the president’s list at Butler County Community College, where she graduated in 2014.
She was employed as a district training store manager (DTSM) for CVS Health.
Kristen is survived by the love of her life, John A. Ady, whom she married Feb. 29, 2024; her two fur babies, “the girls,” Charlotte and Stella; one sister, Nicole DeSantis, of Butler; one brother, Ralph Slepski and his wife, Tonya, of Butler; and five nieces and nephews, MaKaela, Isaac, Cody, Emma and Tyler.
In addition to her parents, Kristen was preceded in death by two brothers, Gregory Davanzati and Brian DeSantis.
Kristen was a free spirit who enjoyed spending time with her husband and “the girls.” She also enjoyed building Legos, fire-spinning, being outdoors, game nights, crafting and spontaneous trips to the casino. She was an enthusiastic Taylor Swift fan, a self-proclaimed “Swiftie.”
DESANTIS ADY — Friends and family of Kristen Ashley DeSantis Ady, who died Friday, April 11, 2025, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 429 Center Ave., Butler.
A service will immediately follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
