Clearfield Township recently announced two road closures for the month of March.

A portion of Herman Road will be affected intermittently this week, and McGrady Hollow Road is expected to close for six weeks beginning Saturday, March 15.

The section of Herman Road in Clearfield Township is scheduled to be intermittently closed on Tuesday, March 11, and Thursday, March 13, for the placement of culvert pipes.

Signs could be seen Sunday evening near the end of Harris and Hamilton Roads indicating the planned closure.

Summit Township secretary Roxann Stickney did not anticipate any impact on the nearby Summit Township portion of Herman Road.

Additionally, a bridge on McGrady Hollow Road is tentatively scheduled to be closed starting March 15 for six weeks for a bridge replacement project.
