Joann Fabrics and Crafts announced it is going out of business, as the fabric and crafts retailer is set to close all of its stores nationwide after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection for a second time.

Earlier in February, the business announced plans to close 500 of its 800 stores, citing weak sales, but after failing to find a buyer that would keep those stores open, the retailer has now said that all of its locations will close.

The Hudson, Ohio-based company first declared bankruptcy in March 2024, while reporting between $1 billion and $10 billion in debt. Joann Fabrics and Crafts filed for bankruptcy for the second time in January.

The company has two Butler County locations — 160 Pullman Square, in Butler, and 20111 Route 19, in Cranberry Township.
