Stephen Miller
Stephen Miller, 85, of Route 321, Kane, Pa., passed away Friday morning, Feb. 14, 2025, at his residence.
Born Nov. 3, 1939, in Butler, he was the son of the late John and Mildred (Schultz) Miller. On Oct. 11, 2003 in West Virginia, he married Cynthia (Lehman) Penrod, who survives.
Steve served in the U.S. Army. He then became a mill worker at Armco Steel in Butler. He was a member of the Kane Art League and also had worked on the Kane Depot Preservation Society. He was also a member of the Free and Accepted Masons and the 32nd Consistory in New Castle. Steve was a very proud member of AA for over 40 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Paula (Casey) Menteer of Kane and Stephanie Neeley of Butler; three grandsons, Kenny Clark, Shaine Miller and Jonathan Koebler; stepchildren, 0Michele (John) Mohney, Melissa Hayduk, William Walton and Joe (Misty) Walton; numerous step-grandchildren; and his great friend, Derek Dangelo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Lucretia Angert; and two sisters.
MILLER — Friends of Stephen Miller, who died Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, are invited to attend a viewing from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at CUMMINGS FUNERAL HOME, 151 Greeves St., Kane, Pa. A funeral ceremony will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Heather Glogau officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
