Janis Blobner
Janis Blobner, 72, of Saxonburg, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025. In the days leading up to her passing, she was surrounded by her loving family and friends, including a special bedside visit from her beloved horse, Storm, which brought together those she loved most in a shared sense of joy and togetherness.
Janis had a magnetic personality and was an exemplary hostess, perfecting every detail of any family get together beautifully, and lighting up the room up with her laughter. She found no greater joy than enjoying time at the barn with her granddaughters and Storm.
She is survived by her husband, Lee, whom she married July 4, 1992; her children, Jason Miller and his wife, Natalie, of Butler, Justin Miller and his wife, Melissa, of Valencia, Jamie Kunchick of Reston, Va., and Matthew Blobner and his wife, Lindsey, of Bridgeville; and her cherished grandchildren, Jason Jr., Jeanette Miller, Alivia Miller, Joycelin Miller, Kailee Kunchick, Charlotte Miller, Hannah Miller and Elise Miller.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jill, in 1995; and her mother, Lois, in 2005.
Janis will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her spirit, strength, humor and the love she gave to so many.
BLOBNER — Friends of Janis Blobner, who died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025, will be received from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. A blessing service will follow at 4 p.m. with Father Ward Stakem officiating.
