Dorothy ‘Dottie’ Ralke
Dorothy M. “Dottie” Godesky Cogley Ralke, 92, of Pittsburgh, passed away on Monday, Dec. 23, 2024.
Born Feb. 3, 1932, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Stella Dobrzanski Godesky.
Dottie was a devoted member of St. Gregory Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir and was a housekeeper to the church for 14 years, as well as a Eucharistic minister. She was a member of Harmony Moose Lodge, Ladies Auxiliary of American Legion – Zelienople, the Hungarian Beneficial Society and the VFW. She worked at the Pittsburgh U.S. post office in Warrendale for 20 years.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Arthur Cogley, Paul S. Cogley, Patricia Lacher, Elizabeth Kehren, Mary Ann Whewell and Denise Dischman; brother, Richard Godesky; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Dottie was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Cogley; her second husband, William Ralke; and her brother, Alexander Godesky Jr.
RALKE — Friends of Dorothy M. “Dottie” Godesky Cogley Ralke, who died Monday, Dec. 23, 2024, will be received from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
Everyone please meet at the church for a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at noon Saturday, Dec. 28, at Divine Grace Parish, St. Gregory Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople.
Dottie will be laid to rest at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
