SRU trustee appointed to student advisory board
Slippery Rock University trustee Joshua Young was appointed to serve as the board’s representative to the executive board of SRU’s Student Government Association during the university’s council of trustees quarterly board meeting Thursday, Dec. 5 and Friday, Dec. 6.
Young will serve in a nonvoting role on the association’s advisory board of directors for a three-year term.
The council of trustees received reports from standing committees and reviewed finance and division reports.
One of the presentations the council received was from Julia Williamson of the SRU-SGA child care center and Amy Orville, assistant professor of curriculum, instruction and educational leadership. The presentation was on the partnership between the college of education and the SRU-SGA child care center.
The council of trustees will hold its next quarterly meetings on March 20 and 21.
