McFadden

Robert B. McFadden, 92, of Sarver, passed away at 5:50 a.m., Friday, Dec. 6, 2024, at Butler VA Medical Center.

Robert was born in Vandergrift on Sept. 12, 1932, and was a son of the late Esther M. (Long) Coulter and William J. McFadden.

Robert was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran. He retired from ATI (formerly Allegheny Ludlum) in Brackenridge in 1988 after 38 years of service as a metallurgist. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sarver, American Legion Post 354 in New Bethlehem, the Sarver Vets, and the Franklin Elks 110. He was a past president of Fawn 2 Fire Department and also worked for the Fawn/Frazier Water Authority. Robert enjoyed traveling to Florida, hunting and going to camp.

Robert is survived by two sons, Barry (Lois) McFadden of Sarver and Kevin (Tracey) McFadden of Adrian, three grandchildren, Robert McFadden, Morgan (Evan) Bowser and Jessica (Jeff) Kolish; a great-granddaughter, Kailey Kolish; and a brother, James (Barbara) McFadden of Vandergrift.

MCFADDEN — Per his wishes, there will be no public visitation for Robert B. McFadden, who died Friday, Dec. 6, 2024.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at a later date at Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
