Greg Campbell
Greg A. Campbell, 54, of Portersville, passed away Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024, peacefully with his family and friends at his side.
Born on May 3, 1970, in Butler, he was the son of A. Reid and Patricia “Patty” (Daugherty) Campbell.
Greg graduated from Moniteau High School, Class of 1988. He attended Gannon University and the University of Pittsburgh, graduating from both with chemical and chemical engineering degrees. He worked his entire career for the former Ashland Chemical on Neville Island. He was a life member of the West Sunbury Volunteer Fire Department and member of the Hopewell Township Volunteer Fire Company. He was a fan of all Pittsburgh sports and loved ice hockey. He especially loved watching his son play hockey.
Greg is survived by his wife of 23 years, Michelle (Mine) Campbell; his son, Gage; his parents, Reid and Patty Campbell of West Sunbury; his sister, Denise (Greg) Paulson of Reading; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Michael and Martha Mine of West Sunbury; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Maria and George Pry of West Sunbury; brother-in-law, Matthew Mine of Denver, Colo.; and nieces and nephews, Nick (Maria) Aragon-Pry, Kayla Paulson, Jacob Pry, Luke Paulson, Haley (Ethan) McDeavitt, Victoria Pry and Allie Pry.
CAMPBELL — Family and friends of Greg A. Campbell, who died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024, will be received for visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Mathias officiating. Interment will be held privately.
