Pisor

Howard David Pisor, 56, of Hilliards, went home to be with his wife and mother Saturday afternoon, Oct. 26, 2024, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Howard David was born in Brookville on Sept. 15, 1968. He was the son of Burt P. Pisor Sr. (Linda) of Bruin and the late Amanda Claypoole Pisor.

David graduated from Karns City Area High School and in his earlier years had attended school in Marienville. He had been employed at area farms, Keystone Ridge, and most recently East Butler Color Press. He enjoyed his animals, farming, splitting wood and hunting.

David was preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Ealy Pisor, whom he married in Bruin in 2000. Mrs. Pisor passed away in 2022.

Surviving are six children, Austin J. Scott of Hilliards, Kenneth Seybert of Carlisle, Christina Seybert of Parker, Heather Seybert (Brandi) of Parker, and Nick Seybert (Bobbi Jo) and Mandy Hair (Chad), both of Butler. He was affectionately “Pappy” to his grandchildren, Shawna, Kovis, Tucker, Terrace and Laci. He is survived by two brothers, Burt Pisor Jr. of Turnipole and John Pisor (Missy) of Shippenville; three sisters, Florence Dinger (George) of Templeton, Mary Ann Risinger (Randy) of Parker and Donna Bier (Ray) of Cranberry; a stepsister, Becca LeRoy; as well as a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

In addition to his wife and mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred.

PISOR — Friends of Howard David Pisor, who died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at HILE FUNERAL HOME OF KARNS CITY, 128 Main St., Karns City. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Beverly Roscoe, pastor of Karns City United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Bear Creek Cemetery.
