James Lee Judge, 78, of Cowansville, died on Friday, Oct. 25, 2024.

He was born on April 27, 1946, in New Martinsville, W.Va., to the late Oran Lee and Mildred (McDiffitt) Judge.

Jim was a foreman at Hawk Contracting in Kittanning and then was self-employed in the logging business. When he was younger, he enjoyed pulling ponies and horses and was involved in a number of related organizations. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Jim leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 55 years, Wanda; daughter, Saundra Renae Judge of New Cumberland; siblings, Sharon (James) Egley of Irvine, Pa., Ron (Ginger) Judge of Mount Morris, Mich., Douglas Judge of Cowansville, Debra (Timothy) Lewis of Kittanning and Diana (Al) Crawford of Cowansville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Margaret (James) Price; a brother, Larry “Tony” Alfred Judge; and an infant brother, Ricky Judge.

JUDGE — Friends of James Lee Judge, who died Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, at SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, 832 E. Brady Road, Cowansville.

Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at noon Tuesday, Oct. 29, with Pastor Tim Lewis officiating. Interment will be in Sherrett Cemetery, Cowansville.
