Mail-in voting dangerous to democracy
Though in some states mail-in votes can be reversed, early mail-in ballots weaken democracy because those who vote early forgo exposure to information that may contradict what was formerly known or understood about the candidates.
Social media has admitted it has blocked information it deemed untrue, ergo, eliminating debate and subduing free speech. Even Siri’s bias was exposed when asked about the reasons to vote for Vice President Kamala Harris or former President Donald Trump. Many Americans are forced to sift through political minutia, filtering out the lies from the truth.
Until we go back to one-day voting, paper ballots, fair and balanced reporting, and unbiased public exposure of the candidates our electoral process will continue to breakdown.
Instead of voting for the candidate that could best lead our nation our votes become nothing more than gratuitous acts to appease the most powerful political party.
