Homer Kretzer, 82, of Butler, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 8, 2024. He was born in Gibsonia on Aug. 23, 1941, to the late Arthur and Lottie (Oldendort) Kretzer.

Homer honorably served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed at Verizon. He enjoyed trains and gardening.

Homer was the beloved husband of Cecelia (Bennett) Kretzer since their marriage in 1971; father of Jeffrey Kretzer; brother of Shirley; and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Homer is forever loved by Keith.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Goldie and Pearl.
