Leila ‘Lee’ Croskey

Leila “Lee” Merle Croskey, 96, of Saxonburg, formerly of Gibsonia, passed away early on Saturday morning Aug. 3, 2024.

Born in Wilkinsburg, Pa., on Aug. 15, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Paul Yeager and Margaret Duvalla Yeager.

Lee graduated from Wilkinsburg High School and worked at Woolworth's Five-and-10 and Union Switch & Signal. A homemaker and an avid sewer, Lee was a member of the Gibsonia Presbyterian Church.

She was the beloved mother of Linda Croskey, Janet (James) Greene, Susan Mutz and David (Courtney) Croskey; and adoring grandmother of eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd R. Croskey; sister, Paula Shopes; and sons-in-law, Frank Mutz and James Klobuchar.

CROSKEY — Friends of Leila “Lee” Merle Croskey, who died Saturday Aug. 3, 2024, will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to South Butler Community Library, 240 W. Main St., Saxonburg, PA 16056 or Gibsonia Presbyterian Church, 4003 Gibsonia Road, Gibsonia, PA 15044.
