Bayne

Harry H. Bayne Jr., 84, of Karns City, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at his home.

Born April 23, 1940, in Allegheny County, he was the son of Harry H. Bayne and Violet (George) Bayne.

Harry had worked as a truck driver for John D. Clark Heavy Hauling, John Jerich Trucking and Portage Transfer, among others. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Arbor Day Foundation. He enjoyed hunting and having coffee with friends at area restaurants.

Surviving are four sons, Joseph (Anna) Bayne of Kaylor, Albert (Anna Wolfe-Bayne) Bayne of Butler, Richard (Darlene) Bayne of Cheswick and Harry (Kathy) Bayne III of Sarver; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Alice Bayne; and one sister, Betty Bayne.
