Church goers bring landscaping equipment to Sunday service

Members of Mt. Nebo Presbyterian Church participated in a longtime church tradition Sunday morning, July 28, for which they had to leave their homes earlier to arrive on time.
It was Tractor Sunday at the Presbyterian church, which has been a tradition since longtime member Sandi Cox saw other churches doing it in the west.
The rural church community turned out with tractors of all sizes, which were parked in the lot and in the yard by the church during the morning service, which also included morning refreshments for its members.
Dozens of people rode their tractors in Sunday morning, which also gave them a chance at a glimpse of their fellow congregants’ landscapers.
