The annual Petrolia Community Day begins at noon Saturday at Petrolia Park to celebrate the community’s past, present and future. The event features the filling and burying of a time capsule. Attendees may bring a small item for the time capsule.

Other events include a car show, basket raffle, duck races, vendors, children’s activities and live entertainment from DJ Frank Kepple and country musician Gary Burk III. Attendees should bring chairs to sit on during Burk’s performance, which begins at 6 p.m.
