Tammy Ruediger
It is with a broken heart that we have to announce the passing of Tammy “Rudy” Ruediger, 66, of Fenelton, on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Butler Memorial Hospital.
She was born on June 4, 1958, in Butler, to the late James Reed and Beatrice (Oesterling) Reed.
Tammy graduated from Butler High School. She worked as a caregiver at Newhaven Court, where she cared for residents for more than 20 years. Tammy enjoyed card games, puzzles and taking care of residents at Newhaven. She liked going to the casino. Most of all, Tammy loved spending time with her family and her dogs. In July of 2023, Tammy became a grandmother for the first time; she naturally was the best “Mimi” to Caden, whom she adored so much.
Tammy is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Ruediger; two sons, Chad (Jenna) Ruediger and Ryan (Cameron Devinney) Ruediger; one stepdaughter, Teresa (Stan) Sims; one grandson, Caden Ruediger; mother-in-law, Rose Ruediger; two brothers, Gary (Monica) Reed and James (Tracy) Reed; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Diana Khatibi.
RUEDIGER — Friends and family of Tammy “Rudy” Ruediger, who died Monday, July 22, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Bob Edmundson officiating.
A private burial will take place at Butler County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 or the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.
