Glenn O. Bartmas, 90, of Butler, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024.

He was born in Butler on Jan. 5, 1934, to the late John and Helen (Robinson) Bartmas.

Glenn honorably served in the U.S. Army. He was known for being hardworking and having a great sense of humor, and was a great dad, grandfather and great-grandfather. Glenn enjoyed fishing, tinkering in his garage, listening to music and playing multiple instruments. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was loved and will be forever missed.

He was the father of Gloria (Jesse) Pink, Teresa LeChien, Timothy (Patti) Bartmas, Douglas (Lorie) Bartmas and Dianna (Jason) Stewart; brother of Dale (Evelyn) Bartmas; grandfather to 13; and great-grandfather to numerous great-grandchildren, and Winona Bartmas.

Along with his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by his son, Glenn G. Bartmas; six siblings; and his grandson, Douglas Bartmas Jr.

BARTMAS — Family and friends of Glenn O. Bartmas, who died Monday, July 22, 2024, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
