Butler County Symphony presents ‘Music Under the Stars’
The Butler County Symphony Orchestra will give a free outdoor performance at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 27, at the Cranberry Park Amphitheater featuring guest conductor Jonathan Taylor.
Selections will include music by John Williams and Duke Ellington, patriotic songs and other well-known melodies.
Audience members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
Taylor is originally from Manchester, England, where he studied composition and conducting at the Royal Northern College of Music. Taylor worked as director of music for the Greater Manchester Police Band, and later assumed the role of musical director of the Cayman National Orchestra in Grand Cayman, British West Indies.
