South Butler Library invites LEGO builders to build Brooklyn Bridge replica
The South Butler Community Library in Saxonburg is inviting LEGO enthusiasts over on Tuesday evening, June 18 at 5 p.m. to aid New Yorker and Brooklyn Bridge enthusiast Ben Jackson in building a replica of the famous bridge out of LEGO.
Jackson has made headlines in New York media for his Brooklyn Bridge model, which he is currently trying to submit to LEGO to have it turned into an official model kit. On Tuesday, he is bringing his model to Saxonburg, where borough founder John Roebling invented the wire rope that made the bridge possible.
