No help for closed post offices

I’ve read twice in the Butler Eagle about post offices closing. One was an article about Renfrew’s post office closing due to flooding. Residents travel 10 miles round trip to get their mail.

The other was a letter to the editor from a lady from Hilliards saying their post office closed four years ago and they also travel 10 miles round trip to get their mail. No help is being provided to either place it seems.

Now here’s a new one: A couple months ago the Herman post office closed due to flooding and mold. We too travel 10 miles round trip to get our mail in Butler! We seem to be becoming people with no address! We are getting no answers! Where do we turn to for help?!
