Jackie Lee “Jack” Locke, 71, of Grove City, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.

He was born in Grove City on Jan. 25, 1953, to Paul Vernon Locke and Betty Genevra McKee Locke.

Jack graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1970 and attended Slippery Rock State College. He was part owner of the once popular Straub’s Pizza Shop in Slippery Rock. Jack worked in construction doing various jobs, mostly being utilized in the final phases to bring the project to completion. He was an avid history buff who also enjoyed hunting and cooking. In later years, Jack was dedicated to caring for his loving companion, Mary, and her son, Eric.

Survivors include his sister, Pauletta J. (James) Fallabel of Winchester, Va.; two brothers, David P. (Catherine) Locke of Fairfax, Va., and Kevin B. Locke of Grove City; and two nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

LOCKE — There will be a private interment service for Jackie Lee “Jack” Locke, who died Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Rosewood Cemetery, Whiskerville, Washington Township, Butler County.
