“Alter Eagle,” an original Butler Eagle podcast, will share a personal story of depression and self-harm in a new episode Monday, June 17.

Emily Rose Hart is one of nine children who didn't have a typical mother-daughter relationship growing up, because of her mother's injuries and sickness. She said therapy and God have been her saving grace, and she has also reconnected with her dad and is healing the wounds of her past. In the episode, Hart speaks to the “seasons” of her life and declares that she knows she is on the correct path.

The episode title is “Emily Hart: In Her Season.”
