First Baptist Christian School
First Baptist Christian School’s commencement was held at 7 p.m. May 31 at the school building in Butler.
Commencement speakers were valedictorian Reilly Martin and salutatorian Samantha Cooper.
■ Reilly is the daughter of Joel and Desiree Hills, of Bruin, and April Martin, of Worthington. She was a member of the cheer squad and president of the Student Leadership Team.
She plans to attend Grove City College to major in broadcast journalism and minor in music and theater.
■ Samantha is the daughter of Patrick and Maricris Cooper, of Butler. She was treasurer of the Student Leadership Club and a member of the varsity volleyball team.
She plans to attend Butler County Community College with a general studies major before pursuing a degree in health care.
