Lucille Green
Lucille M. Green, 92, of Sarver, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at her home.
Born Nov. 27, 1931, in Natrona, she was the daughter of Martin W. Weleski Sr. and Anna Margaret Blascheck.
Lucille was owner of the former Precious Moments Bridal Boutique. She also worked at W.R. Brown Plumbing and Heating, PPG in Creighton and the Lernerville Roller Rink. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cabot, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers and taught Sunday school. She enjoyed sewing; baking desserts, bread and buns; crafting; growing and reviving house plants; and planning her Winfield High School class reunions.
Surviving are her children, Deb (Dan) Fritz of Valencia, Vince Green Jr. of Sarver and Bev (Mark) Landry of Glenshaw; two brothers, Bob (Kathy) Weleski of Cabot and Rich (Diana) Weleski of Saxonburg; six grandchildren, Eric Vincent, Brittany (Brian) Cappucci, Tim (Cassie) Fritz, Andy (Christamarie) Fritz, Justin Landry and Ryan Landry; six great-grandchildren, Ashyln, Caleb, Lucas and Brianna Cappucci and Joseph and Elouisa Fritz; and her son-in-law, Mark Vincent of Fort Myers, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Green Sr., on April 30, 2000; her daughter, Marjorie Vincent; four brothers, Ed Weleski, Mart Weleski Jr., Ray Weleski and Chuck Weleski; and three sisters, Dorothy Rockar, Helen Sepich and Anna Margaret Boldy.
GREEN — Friends of Lucille M. Green, who died Tuesday, May 28, 2024, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church, 315 Stoney Hollow Road, Cabot, with Father Ward Stakem officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Herman.
