Sunday, May 26, is Fish for Free Day in Pennsylvania. For 24 hours, you won’t need a fishing license to “go fishin.’”

Moraine State Park is giving budding fishermen the chance to leap into their new hobby on Sunday by offering fishing equipment for free from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the state park office on the park’s South Shore. All fishing equipment borrowed must be returned by 4 p.m.

While any resident or nonresident can go fishing without a license on Sunday, all other fishing regulations still apply.
