Seneca Valley School District is hosting its first Best Buddies Walk on June 1. The event will start at North Boundary Park in Cranberry Township.

The community is invited to participate in a morning of music, face painting and refreshments and will feature the Seneca Valley Unified Bocce Team, who will play from 9 to 10 a.m.

Registration is $10 per person. The deadline to register is May 31.

All proceeds go to Best Buddies International, a nonprofit volunteer organization that aims to create opportunities for one-on-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through group activities.
